The
group of schools serving West Carleton centres around West Carleton Secondary
School (Grades 9-12). Its three feeder schools are Fitzroy Centennial PS
(Grades JK-8), Huntley Centennial PS (Grades JK-8), and Stonecrest ES (Grades
JK-8); it also receives students from W. Erskine Johnson PS and Stephen Leacock
PS in Kanata. Fitzroy Harbour PS (Grades JK-6) and Torbolton PS (Grades
JK-6) are feeder schools for Fitzroy Centennial PS.
All
West Carleton public schools offer the Regular English program and, as needed,
special education programs and services. The Early French Immersion
program (Grades SK-8) is available at Huntley Centennial PS and Stonecrest
ES. The Middle French Immersion program (Grades 4-8) is available at
Stonecrest ES. The Late French Immersion program (Grades 7-8) is available
at Fitzroy Centennial PS. West Carleton Secondary School serves students
in both English and French Immersion programs.
