Munster E.S. school website: http://www.ocdsb.ca/MUNSweb/

Located near the centre of Munster, Munster Elementary is a public school offering the regular English program from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5. The attendance boundary covers the western part of rural Goulbourn, including Ashton.
In
September 2006, Munster E.S. had an enrolment of 168 students in the regular English program.
Built in 1977, Munster
E.S. was just around the corner from one of its predecessors, the 1890 stone S.S. No. 5 closed in 1966, and unfortunately destroyed by fire a few years ago. Today's Munster E.S. has helped to blend the suburban development in the village with a well-established farming community, for both education and community use. It is a bright, attractive school with a large playground.
On completion of Grade 5 at Munster E.S., students are directed to Goulbourn M.S. for Grades 6 through 8 for the regular English program, and may choose to enter the Late French Immersion program in Grade 7. Students interested in Middle French Immersion may transfer to Katimavik E.S. in Kanata for Grade 4.
